You can do several things to help prevent your baby from getting lots of colds.

• Wash your hands frequently and have others wash their hands before touching or holding baby.
• Avoid taking your infant out in crowded places where he might be exposed to people with colds.
• If possible, try to keep your older baby from putting his mouth on objects that have been handled by others.
